Just got back yesterday from a huge 12-day temple run of Tamil Nadu.
A ‘south tour’ is a pretty much mandatory school excursion but I don’t know how it came about that I had never visited many of these places before. But I am glad that these were not ticked off in while in an unripe state, but instead visited with my faculties open, sharp and receptive.

What an experience! What to say first, how to order my thoughts, which aspects to touch on? Too much to say, too much to imbibe, too many bags to unpack, too many clothes to wash.
So I’ll be doing a small series in the days to come, trying to share the most essential aspects of this memorable tour.
